Driven by the Copyright & Licensing Working Group
inside of CDSA

With 40% of consumer products being at retail before entertainment launches, the opportunity to release the wrong product and spoil the magic moment is high and there are countless opportunities for information to leak along the way. There was a clear need for action which led to the formation of the Copyright & Licensing Working Group, which sits within the CDSA. The group comprises a team of highly skilled and experienced security professionals who work for some of the largest and best known content holders in the media and entertainment industry. Together they have worked to create a comprehensive set of guidelines and best practices to help support licensors and merchandisers, which provides detailed information on the top causes of leaks and how they can be mitigated.

CDSA, the Content Delivery & Security Association, is the worldwide forum advocating the innovative and responsible delivery and storage of entertainment, software, and information content. More information on the association and community is available at CDSAonline.org
